Alright so the trip to Kenya was great, though we decided that the country wasn't everything we where looking for. So we are now looking into other countries.

But the photo's came out pretty well I believe. They where not meant as stock photo's, but while uploading them I took a good look and thought that they might be used well as Stock Photo's. So now I have tagged a few of the " Kenya" photo's with a permission for stock use. Please only use the ones that are noted as such. Please do reffer to me in your post, and please send me a note with the finished work my picture was used for.

So I entered an art contest the other day for the first time in my life. Unfortunately I didn't win. I guess I should of known that, seeing as they wanted something more pratical than a painting. But that is just the thing that bothers me. I thought art didn't have to be practical? So this girl won who sew together a dress. Oh well...

But on better news, I am an obsession with fish all of the sudden. Working on a tropical fish painting at the moment. Lots of bright colours.

And I have decided to check out the African arts soon, maybe vary a little bit into that direction. Seeing as my entire family and I where born there. I think it's a good thing to explore, especially when the subject is somehow related to you.

Looking into some photograhpy now aswell, my cats are my guniea pigs so far. Maybe I can get some people in the neighbourhood to pose for me as well to get me started.

Found this challenge inbetween some lovely art of a fellow deviant, looked very interesting so i have decided to work on it to. Should be interesting to see what i can do with it seeing as im not one to actually use themes, i preffer to just draw and think about it when its done. Anyway, i have decided to turn all the topics into t-shirt prints. This way i can save up a few designs for when i eventually start printing them. They are all pretty simple designs but thats the whole point of it anyway.

DUH RULES...

1.) Make 100 pics each pic having a theme listed below. Each pic should have ONE and only ONE theme to it, for it to count.

2.) No time limit so have fun

3.) The main picture should be drawn but not limited to. for all fair purposes, people are allowed to use their paint programs and photo shop to create the pic.

4.) Pics should be of own artistic ability. You may not edit photos, or break any other rules set out in the Da etiquette policy. Your pics can be anything from sketches and doodles to great master pieces. Just have fun with it.
